Company ProfileThe Bastemeyer Group has been established for over 20 years and covers an area of operation from the Albury Wodonga (NSW / VIC) north to Townsville (QLD). We provide demolition, bulk earthworks and sea-wall construction services. Our extensive client list includes local government authorities, large multinational organisations as well as the smaller domestic contractors. The Bastemeyer Group possesses a considerable array of plant and machinery which enables us to provide competitive prices and a professional service. All plant and machinery is well maintained and the fleet is regularly updated. PersonnelJohn Bastemeyer - Managing Director / Owner John started the company and has subsequently grown the Bastyemeyer Group into one of the largest and most highly regarded contractors on the Gold Coast. John’s approach is still very ‘hands on’ as he still overseas and manages the day to day operations of all plant and labour on all projects. Scott Petty – Senior Supervisor Scott has been in the plant and earthworks business for 25 years and directly manages on site operations on a daily basis. Scott’s experience in the larger and more specialised projects has enabled the Bastemeyer Group to carry out specialist excavation works requiring detailed management practices. Paul Cross – Estimator / Contract Administrator Paul has worked as an Estimator and Contracts Administrator for both main contractors and large sub- contractors for the past 20 years.
